LIV or 54 (a historic reference to the year it started functioning in the roman literals) is one of the best dancing clubs in Miami Beach. Revamped in 2009, it still carries the verve of the old, intermixed with the very best of the new. The historic dome remains, but the lighting has been structured in such a way that the room seems to revolve, a modern masterpiece in more than one way.

Getting there should not be a problem, getting in will depend on who you are with and what day are you visiting. The admission may prove a hassle, the high admission prices can be a deterrent but this is one of Miami’s best so it is well worth more than the admission fees. Once you manage to get it, be ready to be amazed. First time visitors routinely get shocked by the scale of the club, so prepare yourself for it before you get in. It will be a surprise, a good one though, must I add.

The bar caters to everyone’s taste; it is very easy to end up with a very hefty bill specially if you do not belong to the fairer sex, but let us face it, that part is pretty much the essence of clubbing. The music and dancing though are the real reason that you should come to this club. These people get the best in business and the best really know how to put on a show. The management pays attention to detail, so no one night is likely to be like the other. A chain of events is planned by them well in advanced offering the guests a day of their choice. So no matter what your taste is, what you really prefer, Liv will have it lined up for you, if not sooner than later.

For the VIP’s life is great at Liv, strategically placed VIP boxes offer great view of the main floor along with luxurious couches and tables. If you are looking for a corporate get away or wanting to get a booking for some special occasion and treat your employees to the best, this is the place to be. The sound systems, the lighting tools, the color mixers, the LED’s, and video screens all make for an unreal experience.

The entry into the club costs $30-40. You must be 21 and over and carry a valid photo id to enter into the club. Liv has established itself as one of Miami’s best, a trip here is definitely worth your time.
